Cruise Confidential: 2008 New England Book Festival Runner Up!

The very notable book contest from Boston, the New England Book Festival, has awarded CruiseConfidential as a runner-up in their 2008 contest. Books submitted are judged by a panel of industry experts who are looking for:

1) General excellence and the author's passion for telling a good story.
2) The potential of the work to reach a wider audience.

I was thrilled to be listed alongside such notable writers as Barton Gellman, the Washington Post-er whose documentary series on Vice President Dick Cheney (in that publication, no less) won the award. The annual festival will be held in Providence, Rhode Island on January 27th.
